I SPY SEOUL TOWER

I spy a long bike chain, a silver glitter heart, some black and white Korean words, and a cartoon Bart.
A t-shirt lock, a double heart lock, and flocks and flocks of other locks.

We made a visit to Seoul Tower this weekend. It's a big tower on the top of a little mountain, and it gives a beautiful view of the city. The tradition here is to bring a lock to add to the locks-of-love wall, hence the picture above. We forgot to take one up, but we're planning on taking our apartment lock up at the end of our six weeks here. This wall goes on for quite a while, and next to it are all of these benches that slant towards the middle. Convenient for first dates I guess.

On our walk down the mountain, we were talking about what a great run this area would be. Then we came across an outdoor gym and a padded track that led up the mountain. Koreans think of everything. After the mountain we went across the campus of a Buddhist University to get to the subway. They had hundreds of paper lanterns hanging for Buddhas birthday, which makes me think we might be in for a cool parade or festival. Honestly, all of my favorite things so far have been the different things we've come across from walking around. Hopefully I do not get tired of that since I will have lots and lots of time for it.
