Some pictures

We have had electricity out 2 of the past 3 days, and now the internet is having connection problems, but I finally got pictures from my camera to the computer, so I am determined to post a few. Kampala is such a colorful city, so there is always a lot to look at when walking or driving around, and these pictures are just some of the things we've seen.
It rains about every other day, always between 1:30 and 2. This day we had especially heavy rain that almost flooded the singles apartment.

This is our friend Pete. He likes to take pictures, but Dane took this one of him to show how fun it is to ride the Matatus.

Tea fields we hiked to during a visit to Ssezebwa Falls.

Children carrying sticks. It is interesting the contrast between urban and rural lifestyles here. Things become very dated very quickly.

We spent Saturday afternoon at Ssezebwa Falls. Too bad so much of the water here has diseases in it or we might have gone swimming.
