Per Annum

Dane and I recently celebrated our one year anniversary. Cheer. We've wondered about when that newlywed feeling wears off, and I'm not sure that it has, or that we will even notice it when it happens, but returning to an old job and an old routine has made me feel much further away from our wedding than before summer started. Maybe it's because relationships compose themselves like one long string of momentous events. When Dane and I looked back before, the best and most recent thing to reminisce over was the wedding. Now with Korea and Uganda in our collective past, the wedding does not come to my mind's eye as easily.  Good thing we'll have an anniversary every year when we can remember it so that the rest of the time we can be creating these other sweet memories.
