Those of you who know my cousin Stephanie know how absolutely wonderful she is and how absolutely wonderful it would be to spend a weekend in New York City with her. She came to see me because she's leaving on an 18 mo. mission for our church to Ukraine and we had to have some last laughs. Now that I think about it, this may be the longest we've been separated since we were 9 years old and her family moved to Arizona. We've worked together, lived together, and been mistaken for each other in Alaska, and now she is off to the land of babushkas and faberge eggs.
While she was here we went and ate at a Ukranian restaurant. It was delicious and if any of you are curious I can direct you to where to go in the East Village when you visit. I recommend the blintzes.
Stephanie, I will miss you a lot, but it's okay since you're going to move to New York when you get back anyways. :)

ReplyDeleteBRITT!! I love you and miss you so much! New York was so practically perfect in every way. I gotta focus on Ukraine for a bit, but I'll be honest- NYC made a pretty great case for itself as my potential new home someday.
